The gateway to Bruce County, an area of rolling hills, scenic highways and warm-hearted people. South Bruce is an amalgamation of Mildmay, Teeswater and Formosa with the two main population centres being Mildmay and Teeswater. German roots meets rural countryside in Mildmay and they have been branded as Bavarian Town, located south of Walkerton. Filled with unique generational shops, rural charm and home of the ever-flowing artisan water well in the Mildmay Rotary Park. Teeswater is strong with agricultural roots, home to Gay Lea Foods Co-operative and Ontario Goat Co-operative and they have been branded as Tractor Town, located North of Wingham. Here you will find various tractor art pieces such as a repurposed antique tractor hood & seats and converted in a practical table and chairs, main street tractor banners and Teeswater is also home to the recently retired square dancing tractors! Formosa is known for its beautiful parks, historic church and waterfall attraction within a rolling valley located in middle South Bruce, between Mildmay and Teeswater.
